You should wait until the plant is a 12 inches until you can determine sex and start flowering. On my 1st grow I had the lights on 24/07 and then I had no power for 1 day with the plants around 12 inches the next day pistils were everywhere 3 out 3 girls :mrgreen:

Sounds like she's budding if the white hairs are turning orange, pistils (the white hairs) are bud sites these will start to swell up in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering. The most apparent bud site are the tops. have you any pics

They are not flies they are fungus gnats that are top soil feeders. Also try to dry out the soil without drying out the plant change your watering schedule so you have larger intervals of dry soil,fogs are also good and I just read that predatory mites eat the the larva or eggs

Have you started flowering yet if so watch the pistils as these are bud sites

I had the same shit I used a pesticide for fruit flies and a venus fly trap plant. I still have a few flies but the pesticide is working and the venus fly trap has killed around 20 of the little bastards
