so is it safe to say they got burned by the bulbs? i mean 88 isn't necessarily TOO too hot, but with the low humidity, and also I'm sure with the stretching they didn't develop proper root systems either...really wana figure out what went wrong...LOVE SOME HELP ON THIS germinated some new beans...

yo they ended up like that after their first day in that cab. it was 88 degrees, 28 percent humidity. they WERE like inches from the bulbs. i think thats what fried them. i had JUST watered them for the first time yesterday...the soil remained damp throughout sprouting. they were looking so...

alright, i want to know two things: 1. can these plants recover and if so is it worth it to continue...or should i start over? 2. does a 4 inch 165 cfm inline fan hooked to the outputs have enough pull to keep the temps down enough...or was temperature even the problem?

nitti i got 16 of the 23 watt bulbs...are 26 watt bulbs guna make a diff? its too hot...they got burned. they aren't over watered or nute burned...as they have only been watered once and never with nutes...they are almost crispy now. venting. how can i pull air thru it now...

i may go that route. but not on my first grow. i spent like 50 bucks on 368 watts with supposedly 28000 accumulative lumens...i know they aren't as efficient and don't necessarily put out the useful PAR and blah blah blah but they work...for 50 bucks. the idea is to maximize the minimal...

thanks man i definitely appreciate the info... they stretched cause i didn't have the cab built when i germinated. i used an aquarium with lights that were wayyy too far away. they stretched really fast...then i got the cab going sorta and now just ironing out the issues... i will be...

so i did 4 holes total. each are 1 and 3/4 inch. one on the right side, one on the left. they are both at floor level. 2 holes in the ceiling, centered. 1 and a quarter pvc pieces go thru each hole, with various 90 degree and 45 degree elbows to direct air flow. the two coming out of the top are...

just checked the temp and humidity. down to 58 degrees mid-night cycle. humidity is up to 53 percent, so thats getting better. really worried about that low temp tho. is that guna be too low? ill be really bummed if i have to build another cab...a real indoor cab. grrr...

so i sealed the box up nice today. weather foam barrier stuff. works great barely leaking any light at all...need to patch up the inlet for the power, but other than that i think it should be good! interested to see the temps that the lights will produce overnight. there are NO intake/outtakes...

awesome man that really helps. I'm in the northeast and i didn't think there was mylar anywhere. I've heard of getting either emergency blankets at like dicks or another sporting goods store or getting mylar balloons. neither of these seem like they won't create the same hotspots that aluminum...
