UV has to be in the right NM if not they its not good. UV or IR will look like a burnt out leds but thats just to ou eyes the plants get the color though. i am not sold on the UV but thats just me, i remember all the grows and test way back in the day on it.. some of the higher NM might help but...

the higher they are the better mixing you get.. UV is not the answer to frost the plants. if used the wrong NM of UV u can hurt ur plants very bad. i know spectra dose not use UV and i doubt BS dose. you really need to know what ur getting when getting UV if out of range it will not be good bro.
