Well being as you want info your doing it wrong. It doesnt matter how cold your ethanol soak is a two day soak is goingto pull all kinds of chlorophyl and other junk. Secondly people here are trying to give you good info so relax and ask specific questions and you may get better answers.

To answer your question aboutwhich is safer/better. Imho any solvent can be safe as long as you can properly purge it. as for better that is an opinion i personally prefer bho blown into ethanol air evapped then vac purged but once again thats my opinion

First off you may be combining multiple teks. Ive only heard of a long soak tincture using a vegetable glycerin solvent.

I would definately strain the alcohol asap. are you trying to make an actual tincture or a cannabinoid infused alcohol drink ie green dragon?

There are as many names as there are extractors. Alot of the names you hear are the same end product just extacted with a different tek so they call it something different

Imo trying to winterize with 70% will hurt the extract more then help it. Once you introduce that amount of water you will need higher/longer heat to remove it thus destroying precious terps.
