Yea, like you said it's mainly an overwatering (which leads to nute burn) problem thanks to those time water released fert pelletes (the white/yellowish balls... not the perlite). Plenty of grows are completed without a problem with MG, you just have to be more careful. If you can make it work...

Where did you find the dual spectrum bulb? i was looking for one for a veg cab but instead opted out for a 5500k bulb.
