I use a Canadian brand Optimum Hydroponix that I get at my local grow shop. Good stuff, I have been using it for years with great results. I also use Monster Bloom from Grotek for a bloom booster addititve.

With growing hydro there is no hauling soil around, having to re-pot the plants and less mess in my opinion. All I have to do is grab a hose over and fill the reservoirs. I do keep my moms in promix though. I can't fit as many soil plants in my room as I can on the 4x8 flood tables. I agree once...

So is this just some dirt you dug out of your yard? Why not go the extra mile and invest in your grow? Get some good soil you purchase from a garden store or garden section. You can get a decent one cheap. You get out what you put in, in my opinion. :D
