Looks like you are air pruning your roots..

The only way to avoid rot root is use highly oxygenated nutrient solution that can penetrate the complete root mass. A fine mist using short cycle times to penetrate a massive root ball will never work.

Without getting highly oxygenated nutrient solution through out the complete root mass you will have root rot.

I agree with you 100 percent you get a few idiots to agree on something it becomes fact to the masses no matter if they are wrong.
