Well, so far it looks like the "No"s have it with 2/3 of the people saying not to do the day of darkness. The girls get flipped to 12/12 today, so I am going to go with the majority and they will not be in the dark for a day! Thanks for the opinions, folks!

If you are getting roots out of the bottom of the rockwool, then the plants are healthy and growing good roots. That means it is time to move them to their next home so they can get on about the business of growing into good little girls!

If you have enough vertical room, I would let em go for now. They will show you sex when they are ready to go! Just remember that they will shoot up during the first few weeks of 12-12 and will end up 2-3 times as tall as they are at the start of flowering

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are about leaving the plant in the dark for a full day before switching to 12/12? I have heard that this helps to increase the hormone in the plant and jumpstart it into the streching / budding phase. Any advice from our esteemed growers out there?

Which brings another question to mind to put out there... Would removing the reflectors on these lights bring down the temps? By removing them, would it be degrading the amount of light that I can direct to the plant?
