Where do you live? Must not be in the Northern Hemisphere if you're going to be growing them outdoors this time of year. I was going to start an Easy Ryder outdoors about a month ago, but I decided that I wasn't really happy with the amount of light it would be getting (even in Southern...

Go easy with the nutes, whatever you decide to use (and you'll get all sorts of opinions about what nutes people like). General consensus is that most people don't give their autos any nutes during Veg, which is a pretty short phase anyway, and those that do give nutes during any phase usually...

Yum, got some good seeds there. I've been thinking about starting a Him Blue Diesel for about a week, but I can't decide whether to let this grow finish and take a break or start that one. I'd like to be done growing by Thanksgiving, and that only leaves about 9 weeks, don't think I'd be...

Most household potting soils are too acidic, like Miracle Grow which will definitely do that kind of damage to a seedling, so that's no surprise. A single true 60W CFL should be fine for the first couple weeks, or for a plant that size, although if it were the size it should be at 28 days it...

Yeah at a glance it definitely looked to me like the soil was too hot for it. The lower leaves are nearly destroyed and the growth has been stunted I'm sure, even though the new growth looks pretty decent. What soil was used with it? Also looks to me like it might not be getting enough light...

First grow - Easy Ryders under CFLs in soil

Thanks. Wow that's crazy about your plant, but actually it's about the exact same rate one of mine has been growing for about the last 8 days, although I wasn't expecting this kind of growth spurt for at least another 2-3 weeks. It's been growing between 3/4" to 1" per day consistently...

@Feva Haven't grown that strain, but it looks VERY small for 28 days, not very healthy. Size-wise it looks more like it's around 8 days old, not 28 days, not to mention the damage to the leaves. I think you have a variety of things going on with that plant, and none of them are good. Good luck.

Very difficult to tell anything from those pics, they're extremely blurry. Try turning macro on with your camera if it has that setting (most do), and that should allow you to take close-up pics that are in focus. There might be other settings you can change as well that affect focus, so...

Late Season Easy Ryder (Auto AK47 x Low Ryder #2) Outdoor Grow

Very nice! I'll be very happy if my main colas look like that. I'm amazed at how different my 5 Easy Ryders are growing, all in the same grow box except for one. They've all had exactly the same soil, lighting, water and nutrients, yet one of them is over 10" tall at only 23 days from seed...

20/4 seems to be the preferred schedule for most autos, and that's what was on the packaging for my Easy Ryder seeds. Definitely can't go wrong with that, it's only a question of what's most efficient and isn't just a waste of electricity. They can be grown under 24/0 even, but I suspect they...

Hey I'm a newbie too (well at least at growing lol, not at consumption for sure), only been growing a month. But like many of us I spent a good month reading everything and anything I could find to get prepared for my first grow. I don't have a vast wealth of hands on growing experience, but...

Um, haven't read the next page to see responses yet, and I haven't read the description for that strain, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that's per square meter, using the Sea Of Green growing method, that's not the yield from a single plant. Figure that's for perhaps 12 to 16 plants, so divide...

You don't use ANYTHING else, just the FFOF. It has everything you need in it to grow from seedling to harvest. Nutes can be added for flowering if you desire, but even that isn't necessary, it just helps to promote larger buds. Of course there are a million things out there you CAN add, to...

Everything you need to know about germinating you can find --> HERE I use this method and it works perfectly. Personally I planted all of mine into their final pots direct from seed, I didn't use cups. If space isn't an issue I recommend going this route to avoid the possibility of something...

Go with Attitude, you absolutely can't go wrong. It's not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for (or in some cases you DON'T get what you pay for if you order from some other places and they get seized by customs). Nirvana is another one of the better ones, but imo it's Attitude...

The Easy Ryders are wildly popular with first time growers for a variety of reasons. Short harvest time, easy to grow, good yield, short and not too bushy, able to be grown outdoors through November if desired, and they're pretty resistant to extreme weather. It's my first grow and I'm growing...

Thanks, haven't given up on her. Might swing by the Hydro shop tomorrow and see if they have anything they can recommend to help her out. I've been using a Silicon solution with every feeding (Pro-tekt by Dyna Gro) which helps to protect against drought, heat, and cold, and to strengthen stems...

First grow - Easy Ryders under CFLs in soil

The Easy Ryders are all between 3-4 weeks from seed and all doing great, some better than others. Scarlett (21 days) is just exploding compared to the others. Measured her today (9/15) and she's 9" tall. She was just 7" tall 2 or 3 days ago, and has been growing about an average of 3/4" per...
