At our uni RAs had access to most frathouses as well... Some states have specific laws regarding so many men or women in the same house... This making them "on campus" and thus under campus/ra authority But that's just some states I elieve regarding sorrority houses, too many girls in one...

I WOULD NOT try to grow in the dorms... that is one thing. Every RA has very easy access to the master key, if Your RA or any RA in your building suspect you're growing... campus security (DPS) can open your room.. your closet... in a heartbeat. And during breaks (fall, winter, spring) RAs...
