    DIY Stoner Snack

I stumbled upon this recipe as I was in dire need of satisfaction for my sweet tooth. I had no Oreos, Little Debbies, Chips Ahoy, NOTHING. So, I began to think creatively, in the DIY spirit. I found some applesauce and Red Raspberry Smucker's Preserves. I mixed app. 1 TBSP (vary to taste) into a...

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

I see you, BIG Tymer! Have you hade any problem with roots being sucked into the EcoPlus pump? You know, eventually the roots will be right there at the opening to the filter and inlet. Does anyone have experience/opinions about this?

You can stick the cutting into the hydroton, it does not need to protrude from the bottom. If you consider other methods, some people root by sticking the cutting into a neoprene collar with the bottom of the cutting exposed to the fluids. :joint:

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

I didn't mean to offend anyone, but spreading false information is very destructive. The fact is the Aquamist system’s 2" sites are spaced CLOSER than this version. That was the science behind the decision. The Aquamist with 4" sites hold 32 pots and the one with 2" sites holds 96. They are...

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

68 degrees (F) is supposed to be the best temp for oxygen intake of the roots. ;-)

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

WOW! So gardenknowm (a member of RIU) didn't grow 200 plants to full maturity in 2 inch net pots? And this is not documented in the video discussed earlier in this thread (you know, the one you obviously didn't watch...FIRST)? Dig that. I think you mistook the intention of this post. It was to...

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

I think you are confusing this thread with the one containing lights inside totes. Not here! But, watch the referenced video to become more informed on this theory. If you are confident in your skills and believe you can get 14-28g per site...:bigjoint:

Hmmm. serious? i checked it out. after a few weeks, your root structure was underdeveloped. but...if ya watch the "see more buds" video you will see the possibilities. ;-) :peace:

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

If you can get an ounce per plant, 2 lbs. If you get a half oz. per plant, 1 lb. Either way, that should be pretty tight for a 21.5" x 42.5 " garden (less than 2' x 4'). Obviously it is for the experienced grower to get the max yield from this set-up. But, considering the video this concept...

    Grow 2 lbs. on a 2’ x 4’ 32 Site DIY Aeroponic Unit

I don't see why this system can't go on a timer, but I was told to run it 24/7 by the experts. Also, if you consider the Aerogarden, it is for seedlings and runs 24. no settings on pump, just a long ass cable to plug in.

Nice lookin' grow ya got going on there, plants look good and healthy. I am curious about your set-up, though. You mention "aeroponics" and "reservoir", yet your medium looks like a perlite/peat moss combination. :peace:

I'm not sure about yields. As stated, I am familiar with the Aquamist and we see what it will do with the proper strain and techniques. :weed:
