YieldMax -- Striving for Maximum Single-Plant Yield in a Micro Space.

Hey, thanks for stopping in djruiner! Yeah, the mini DWCs are quite efficient. If I had more room of course I'd go with a bigger reservoir, but in my space I don't think I'd see anywhere near as much growth as I have if I used soil. I'm convinced DWC is the way to go for this type of grow :)...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey guys! I'm really sorry for that I went MIA there for a couple weeks. Things got really busy with school, and then my girlfriend came to visit for a while so I haven't had much of a chance to update the journal. I'll reply to each of you below! Thanks very much yng! I'm glad to hear that...

YieldMax -- Striving for Maximum Single-Plant Yield in a Micro Space.

Yup :). I just decided to split up the intro and the first grow post. Thanks for coming!

YieldMax -- Striving for Maximum Single-Plant Yield in a Micro Space.

The purpose of this journal is simple. As the title suggests, I am attempting to see just how much quality cannabis one can harvest from a single plant in a small space (~1sq. ft., 14" vertical). Be advised, I may attempt some experimental techniques according to a plan I developed after my...

YieldMax -- Striving for Maximum Single-Plant Yield in a Micro Space.

Hello. This thread is a follow-up to my first grow, First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics. That thread is definitely worth reading and will give you a good introduction to my style of growing. In case you just want to stick around in this thread, here are a few pictures from my...

    Grow Tent Question (GrowLab GL60)

That's good information. How does the top of the tent frame attach to the vertical poles? Will it be feasible to replicate (while maintaining structural integrity) after an inch is taken off? Thanks for your help, everyone.

    Grow Tent Question (GrowLab GL60)

If I cut an inch off of all of the supports and re-drill any mounting holes, etc I think it could work. I could just hem up the extra inch of fabric, or leave it hanging. This plan would certainly be no guarantee that the GL60 is able to be modified in said manner. Hmm, I'll keep thinking...

    Grow Tent Question (GrowLab GL60)

I'm looking into getting a GL60 from GrowLab, which measures 24"x24"x63". Unfortunately, I only have 62" of vertical space. Is the GL60 adjustable enough to lower the top supports about an inch, or would it have to be cut/modified? There is another 24"x24"x55" tent that will work, but the GL60...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey guys, Just a quick update to let you know that the final dry weight is 36.0g. It is really good stuff -- the smoke report is similar to what I pulled a couple weeks ago (and described a few days ago), just more potent. I like it a lot :). Here's a picture of the finished product: I'm...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

No problem yng! If you have the resources, I'd definitely recommend looking into BHO or cold water extraction -- this iso hash is good, but there are ways to make the final product much more pure without much additional effort. I just didn't have any other way to do it when I had to get it done...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

My iso hash method was quite simple. I waited until the clippings I was using were about half dry (really I could have used them right off of the plant), and then baggied them up and threw them in the freezer for a few hours. In the mean time, I drove to the store and picked up a couple...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Hey greenKandy! I'll answer your questions inline. I cut a hole in my reservoir for two reasons: first, because I needed an access point for pH and TDS testing without having to lift the lid; second, because this seemed like an easier way to pour nutes into the reservoir given my funnel/hose...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

I suppose everyone probably has a grow or two in their back pocket like this :). It's good to hear the stories though. I definitely plan on completely maximizing my next ER seed. I have 4 more! Hey, thanks so much greenKandy! I'm pretty happy with how everything turned out, and I'm very glad to...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

TLDR; To be clear, I realize that I chopped a bit early. I made this decision rationally, however, so the result is just about as good as I could have expected. The quality of the high is exactly what I was hoping for, and now I have a bunch of cannabis and a bunch of new knowledge to help me on...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

Thanks for stopping by to check out my harvest! I'm pretty happy with it, especially for my first grow :). It can only get better from here! Hey, no problem man! I'm really glad the thread could be of use and has inspired you to set up your own hydro/ScrOG system. You'll definitely have to keep...

First Ever Grow - Stealth PC Easy Ryder Bubbleponics

I returned to my apartment and opened my computer case to find my plant slightly yellowy and generally not looking too great. About 60% of pistils were receded and brown and it looked like there was no real return in sight, so I'd have to chop her. I decided to forgo the live stream harvest...

Thanks, guys! I'll let you know what's up when I get back. *VRROOOOOOOM* (Okay, that was supposed to be a plane taking off, but it ended up sounding more like the VROOOOM from Dr. Seuss. Sorry.)

*nod* Right-o, that's the plan then. He knows how to adjust pH and stuff, so I'm not worried about that. I'll do a bit of research and call him later today.
