    2 new things

Nope, I was a naive 7 or 8 year old, exploring with things I didn't know about. Purely benign!

    2 new things

When I was little my parents would leave me in the bathtub with the dish washing container as the soap (the one where you pop the top up and squeeze out the soap). Well I lined up the opening of the container spout with the opening of my penis and injected dish soap into my dick hole. It was...

    getting pet rats high

Its not cool and I can't stop folks who think it's fun. All I can do is say is that people enjoying weed is different than cats/dogs/rats enjoying weeds. Please don't get them stoned...enjoy them while your'e stoned.

Does marijuana help with Lyme disease?

OK, thanks for that info. Your options are few. Try the antibiotics for a few months, but if they don't work, stop them. I believe your wife was bit by a tick and is sick because of an agent the scientific community hasn't identified. Calling it Lyme disease (even though all Lyme testing is...

Does marijuana help with Lyme disease?

Tim - IGeneX is a bogus lab, please research them thoroughly and understand their testing techniques and history. Don't pump antibiotics into your wife based on their test result. Please follow up with more credible lab testing facilities. These guys are bogus...seriously! I'm on the east...

    getting pet rats high

Seriously, please don't get your animals stoned. You may think it's funny but they don't like it (as much as you think they do). Seriously

Does marijuana help with Lyme disease?

Tim Fox - it's lyme, not lime. It's everywhere in New England and the diagnosis and treatment is very controversial. Drs want to see the rash and know you're in an area where there's an abundance of deer ticks testing positive for the bacteria (southern maine) before they treat you. The tricky...

    C02

If your room is dialed in perfectly and you know what you're doing, CO2 will improve your yields. I'm not sure you'll get these results with the biobags, but certainly with tanks or burners. Most people don't know how to run CO2 and get sub-optimal results. Hope this helps

    Broad mites

Thanks, so what's my best defense coming back up? Do you just tend to live with them until they become so abundant that they start causing considerable damage? I'm not a fan of treating plants with chemicals but would be interested in products that control these pests.

    Broad mites

howdy riu, I've recently discovered broad mite eggs (not spider mites) on the leaves of some of my plants. I've not seen any other stages of this pest, just the eggs. I intend to finish the current grow (4 plants in soil) then bleach, bomb and scrub my area clean. My question is, where did...

    Black Ziplock Sandwich Bags

Hey RIU, I'm looking for black ziplock bags to replace my clear bags. Search the interwebs for a while and couldn't find a vendor of these. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find these? Thanks

How long will roots organic original soil make it?

Lots of variables will determine how long roots will go without additional nutes - biggest one is how big your plant is going into the soil. On the average, I get 3-4 weeks out of roots before supplementing. Roots is good soil but there are batches with fungus gnats in them, not too harmful but...

    is it possible to...

Hey Gquebed, I don't think you can find that information by using a microscope. You would need to analyze the dna using molecular techniques like PCR and sequencing. Once you have the dna sequence of your plant, you can find out tons of info.

    Molasses?

Just a reminder that the plant doesn't use molasses, it's provided to feed the microbial population in the soil, which then contributes to better plant growth. If you are not using soil amended with mycorrihizaes or other bacteria, the molasses doesn't do much. You probably know this but...
