well i guess my only issue with them would be running a magnetic ballast. unless you can put the ballast far away then heat may become an issue. other than that. i guess just personal opinion?

couple issues i see with your lighting... Is that a strong enough light for veg for about 8 babies? im assuming you are talking about 2-40W FL bulbs fueling 8 plants. This will work fine for the begginging, it all depends on how long you want to veg them for. if you are going to do any veg time...
