Can't be talking about bluegrass unless you mention Split Lip Rayfield....One of the best live bands I have ever had the pleasure to see. They are a hard rockin-high energy band out of Lawrence Kansas.

Anyone please correct me if I am wrong but you should have at least a good week before a male would pollinate. By that time your should surley be able to tell if it is a male or female. Good luck with your grow.
Two boxes is a good idea......but.......you did mention growing an autoflower. If you do this you will only need one box as you wont have to ever switch light cycles....just something to think about
Those cfls need to be as close to the top of your plants as they can be without touching....this will maximize the light intake and cfl's will not burn the plant
I was at Goodwill looking for a Halloween costume and I found a small coffee grinder for a dollar and five mason jars with flip top lids for 50 cents each.....SCORE!!!!
Its probably going to depend on how stealthy you want it to be. I doubt if anyone other than you will go in your attic but dont forget about the smell. It may be an issue you have to deal with. Ventilating would not be that difficult or expensive. Short ryders get very smelly very quickly...
This is what most people will tell you to use. +rep therapy
Advanced nutrients are very good but with any nute, use at least half strength at first. There is a ton of info on this site and others about it and soil. Do some reading! Good luck
