The plant will usually do its stretch during the first two weeks after starting the 12/12 light schedule. By around the third week, you should see less gain in height and more bud development. It does depend on how long she was vegged, since the more mature she is when going into flowering...

Hey guys...quick question - Does anyone know if there are things missing from distilled water that my plant would actually prefer to have? I know distilled is good to keep ph and impurities in check, but will it cause any deficiencies?

While it is true that you can get a plant 'pretty close' to a CFL bulb because they don't get that hot, you can most DEFINITELY burn a plant by having it touch a CFL bulb. I've had plenty of first hand proof of that...LOL Unless you are growing in a very cool environment, the heat from a CFL...

Geez Green...I don't know that those holes will really allow for it to hold too much water back. It may just be that the root system isn't yet big enough to draw all of the water from the lower level of soil. It could fix itself once it grows more and needs to utilize the full bucket volume...
