Who has the largest quantum board grow?

I posted in your thread to help you find what you're looking for. Hence name-checking some members who may be able to show you what you want to see, and directing you to IG as a photo resource. I'd say that's addressing the topic, but okay.

Who has the largest quantum board grow?

Nice try, but no. I simply don't care. I've said it before, and I expect I'll say it again, but all that matters to me is that it tastes good and is effective medicine. Anything beyond that is - in my opinion - the reverse of your "normalization" theory: growers trying to impress people via "bag...

Who has the largest quantum board grow?

Poke around the threads here a little more. So many grows with buds considerably larger than 1/3 gram. If you're on IG, check out #ledgrown for a plethora of LED bud pics.

Who has the largest quantum board grow?

No one should sacrifice yield or quality. But I simply cannot understand what bud size has to do with either yield or quality.

Who has the largest quantum board grow?

I don't understand the big cola fixation either. Potent, tasty bud is potent, tasty bud. Why does size matter? We're growing meds, not filming porn. But hey, to each their own, I suppose...

Who has the largest quantum board grow?

Plenty of big colas, plenty of small colas, plenty of everything in between. Like @booms111 said, check out @greengrassgrower1 and his DE to LED thread. Also @lukio grows some nice chunkers.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

If you're looking for examples of QB-grown bud, you can find plenty on YouTube. With and without foxtails. Check out LokiGro's channel.

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

Some months, as I recall. Lokigro (from YouTube) has been running them for a while, but they don't appear to be doing any better than his COB or QB fixtures (admittedly, I haven't checked his channel recently).

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

On paper, or in a lab setting, I'd agree that targeted spectrums can make a difference. But in the real world, where there are so many variables, I'm not convinced that these fancy mixed-diode lights offer any practical benefit. We've seen over and over that raw photon output and uniformity are...

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

Now those are great results! But - we're talking about a growing environment that has been optimized. To say that these Fluence outperform QBs, you'd need a side-by-side run by the same crew, in ideal conditions for both lights. I've seen 1.8g/w from QBs, and that was a brand new grower's...

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

See, I have my doubts about the value of these mixed-spectrum lights. Plenty of growers here have tried it in their DIY builds, but the results I've seen don't appear to be measurably better than straight white (3000k or 3500k).

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

You wouldn't happen to have a link to a side-by-side comparing a Fluence fixture to Quantum Boards? Because I have yet to see anything that really convinces me that Fluence has an edge.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Do you? Because I've never noticed any difference. Also, I see very little foxtailing, and not on every strain. I tend to think it's all down to genetics. I suppose there may be some strains that are more susceptible under LED? Though I can't imagine why that would be. I couldn't care less, to...

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

I'll put it this way - even if the Quantum Board rig cost every bit as much as the CLW, I would still choose it (if money was no object, and there wasn't a better light out there). CLW isn't using the best-of-the-best in the diode department, and that matters. In the real world I, personally...

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

If you want the UV, there are far cheaper ways to get it. Add some reptile bulbs to your grow. All those CLWs are waaaay overpriced (in my opinion). Quantum Boards use the best, most efficient diodes on the market - you will not find better.

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

Two of these would be ideal for your flower room (if you decide on pre-built instead of building your own). https://growerslights.com/collections/led-grow-lights/products/horticulture-lighting-group-600h-quantum-board-led-kit 600+ watts of Quantum Boards for $700 will beat the pants off CLW's...

CaliLightWorks vs Black Dog vs ???

CLW is overpriced. Black Dog is shit. Definitely go COB or QB if you're looking for a pre-built fixture. Check out Timber or RapidLED for COB setups, and growerslights.com for pre-assembled QB lights. If you're up to DIY, Samsung strip lights are the cheapest way to get into top-quality LED...

In addition. Your 65 watt light is a QB120, so I'm suggesting you run two.
