you sure it was perlite? i know you can get fuse powder and blocks which is in white pellet cubes.... that stuff + flame = Dead plants..... other than that cant see how perlite will kill ur plants...

125w envirolites are 9000 lumens are in perfect spectrum. Cheap to run aswell. BUt yeah thats right.

THanks also another quick question, can you mix perlite with manure? like all purpose manure or whatever? so like 70 percent manure and 30 percent perlite?

CFLS will be cheaper man for 100 percent sure even if they were the same wattage. Its to do with current or something like that and volts or whatever. But got a mate whos an electrician and fo sure he explained that cfls will run alot cheaper. peace
