I'm aware that I need a water pump for irrigation which I already have, my question was is it necessary to use an additional water pump to circulate the reservoir water prior to irrigation, or am I ok with just air stones, or nothing at all (in addition to the irrigation pump).

Sweet thanks for helping me make up my mind. I'm used to running og in there which can get tall and lanky so I top several times and supercrop, and grow less plants wider under a screen usually. Tent is only 5' high but from what I've heard bubba is short and squat with little stretch.
