Ive made hash with most every method possible. BHO is by far my favorite. It is a much larger startup cost to make it the right way but its worth it in the end. This is from 2 plants trim, no nug whatsoever. Has a great taste and not harsh at all. Pm me if interested.

If you have a large enough amount of soil you may be able to start a compost, add spent soil to compost, stir and reuse. A large enough pile would allow it to become perpetual id imagine. I guess the other option is to just reuse the soil, pasteurize then add beneficial microbes and nutrients...
