n00b's first grow - CFL Personal Grow

Should be alright. As long as the soil is high in peat moss and pearlite and it is free of pests it will be fine. Cannabis is pretty resourceful. It will grow in just about whatever you put it in. I have no experience with slow release ferts though so I don't know how that aspect will go. I add...

    My First CFL, =0

I would like to throw something out there that may encourage you a little. Male flowers have a tendency to expose themselves far before female flowers do. The male needs to develop early so that it can be ready for the female. Based on this I am going to throw an assumption out there. (I am...

Now that everyone seems to be well adjusted to their new homes it is officially time to consider spring break over. With the end of spring break comes summer training. They got to live the easy life for a little while. Anyone who was standing up too tall is feeling the bend once again. I am...

They all definitely love the new pots. Growing much bigger and faster than they were in the little 8" pots. Now I just have to play the waiting game. Thanks AcidBurn. I am very pleased with how my first attempt is going so far. Things are looking very green and healthy. Flowering seems like...

n00b's first grow - CFL Personal Grow

Looking good. I have a few suggestions I would make though. First I would invest in some new soil. I cant quite tell what you are growing in, but it looks like it isn't the greatest choice. The seedlings will be slow until maybe week 2 under the CFLs then they should really kick in. I would wait...

Growth: Day 70 Flowering: Day 11 (Train Wreck), Day 6 (AK & Ice) Temp: 24.5'C RH: 49% All of the transplants are looking extremely healthy. One plant was displaying some slowed growth while getting used to the new pot, but I believe it is on it's way now. It had been about a week since the...

A few of the clones are now able to stand up straight and all but 2 are showing signs of new growth. The 2 that are not showing growth look very unhealthy and have some bad colouring going on. I really hope some of them take. I do not want to start from seed again.

Re-re-veg Upgrading from Rubbermaid Setup to 400W MH/HPS Custom Cabinet Must See!!!

That main stem looks like some sort of mutant. Looking damn good man. How long does it take from re-veg to mature flower? I am having no luck with cloning and am thinking I might have to give re-veg a shot.

You would LST to get the plant bushed out a little and then remove the ties and place a screen over top. At least that is how I would do it. LST on it's own is also very successful though.

Keep the lights close to the plants. Then get some good reflection going on all angles and you will be fine with that lighting. With some LST and possibly the use of SCROG techniques as well you could be well on your way. Maintain a nice even canopy and your light will be most efficient bongsmilie

You're doing the right thing now. I can read all the books, all the articles, and watch all the movies, but it will never teach me the same as getting my feet a little wet. Make sure to try and get close to your plants. Touch them, feel them, talk to them, anything to get a better understanding...

I have been looking into molasses a little recently. I read about some Seltzer Molasses foliar feed. It seemed like a pretty interesting idea. Feeding the plant CO2 and the added benefits of the molasses. What will you be modifying your new molasses to water ratio to.

26W will work if you have enough of them but 42W are better. The $42W are $10+/bulb though. They can also be tricky to find at times. I only had 26W for quite some time and my plants did just fine. I had 12 bulbs in my little closet.

Is that really how I wrote it though? You've got some unnecessary commas in there that I don't think I would have used. If I did I am sorry for displaying improper use of punctuation. I have been trying hard to clean up my writing because of the English course I have right now in my college program.

There is no reason to consider a rubbermaid grow bad by any means. If all you need is personal smoke a rubbermaid is a very practical option. Check out this rubbermaid: https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/141891-my-stealth-closet-grow-must.html It may be useful to you. Perhaps he'll have an...

    what the hell is flushing

Flushing is a very simple process. After applying a couple of nutrient feedings you may begin to get a build up of toxic salts in your soil. Flushing is the process that will get these salts out of your soil. You will need a lot of pHd water to flush correctly. Add a great deal of water to the...
