I have to agree with Ganjal, whether or not you believe in the divine properties of the events in the bible, the bible does give us the most accurate and complete historical account of early man that we have. It has the entire genealogy of our ancestors. I dont think there are any other books...

Like I said, alot of the stuff in the bible can be explained and proven by science... and no neer, the world isnt 6000 years old.. the earth is billions of years old. Those 7 days were not human days, they were 7 days in gods eyes, which probably equals more time than we can realistically count...
