What strains were popular in the 60s and 70s?

Regarding the Cheese which as you know is just a pheno of Skunk #1 is probably the closest because the Europeans fell in love with it and have kept it as close to original as anything out there, they use it as a base in tons of crosses. Baq

    Do i need a potentiometer?

I bought the HLG 600H kit with the dimmable meanwell driver. My question is can I mount the driver away from the panel instead of on top and if so what would be the limitation of cord length between the driver and light panel. Reason I posted here is I want to mount the dimmer on the wall and...

Some of that comes from the fact that I'm a professional photographer which is how I see the world and on that note you do a great job capturing the plants, especially the parts related to the genetics, would make a kick ass book on breeding and selecting! Hats off! Best, Baq

What strains were popular in the 60s and 70s?

I'm 65, started smoking / growing in 1970 (indoors and out) here in Ky and the only true one hit pot I ever smoked in my life was a joint of Columbian Black that my girlfriend of that time (1975) brought back from Chicago and that joint lasted me 3 days, plus I shared it with a couple of my...

What strains were popular in the 60s and 70s?

Yep, as a Ky boy of 65 years (45 in Lex) I concur! I've grown and smoked weed here since 1970 and have many friends from the Cornbread mafia and agree with everything you said. Oh, do you remember the Burmese that was grown here in the mid to late 80's, still some of the strongest Indica I've...

Yes on the frig time and nothing complicated about that, it's natural. I have a saying, "People have a tendency to make things too complicated, which creates complicated problems" this goes for anything, but I use it most when discussing weed, especially with organic soil growers, less is more...

Same here, the sand tube and the nub clip (only had to do that once) is as far as I go, never needed to, I do have friends that have hand cracked them and fished out the start with tweezers, not me. I should have said rot not drown as you said, just not a fan of soaking seeds in water. But I am...

3 days in water is too long, they can drown. I've had the best success with thick shelled seeds by making a little sandpaper tube shaking the seeds in it for a few minutes, then soak in a bottle of water with a teaspoon of peroxide for 30 min then into damp paper towels from there. works great...
