make sure u are blocking all light gettin through,, and if still concerened get some oxy plus or pure h202, that will prevent any nasties and increase oxygen content of water. sometimes its jus a trick of th eeye as roots in water look whiter,,, i wouldnt worry if u have gd root growth...

i use a rockwool starter cube 1 " till roots show, then transplant into a 3" rockwool cube but cut cube to shape of the small net pots 3".. all the time still in propagator. when roots show , usually about 9 days after germination, pop straight into dwc system. saves fucking wit soil...
