Seed City - Anyone else use them??

Yes, the four seeds that I started in rockwool all germinated and are growing fine. I'm doing hydro so they are actually growing quickly. These guys are alright. I had placed another order with them and after almost 40 days they said they hadn't received my payment. I emailed several polite...

Timber will mix match light spectrums for you. If you're trying to get close to a 315cmh 3100k. You could do a timber 3 light configuration with a 1750k, a 3k and a 4k. That combination works out to around a 3k spectrum with plenty of red and blue. I have cmh's with 315 3100k bulbs and I have a...

I'm running RDWC culture too. I Ph'd down some water and soaked the rockwool in it for bit before starting seeds. I'm using Cultured Solutions for nutrients. During the first 2 weeks they recommend a ppm of no higher than 200 and Ph around 6.3. As far as light goes, using dimmers is always...

IMO - it would depend on how many lamps that you want in your fixture. For example if you got the Redwood you could use a 4k, 3500k, 2-3k and 2 -1750k. That configuration would provide an average color temp of around 2800k. That should cover late veg and all of flowering. HOWEVER, before buying...

You're right the canopy penetration is amazing. Turning these to full power it's easy to see. Plus when configured with enough green light in the spectrum you get further canopy penetration. When I bought the Fatty, I also bought an HLG 600w Scorpion R-Spec. I sent the R-Spec back. I know a lot...

I just bought a Fatty configured with 5-1750k, 2 -3500k and 2 -4k. I love this light. The construction is second to none. They pay attention to the details. Also, wholeheartedly agree that Dan is awesome to deal with. I'm just into my second week of a RDWC grow using auto flowers. Using them to...

    RDWC 4X4 tent

Noticed that you are using Cultured Solutions nutes. I expect that they are giving you good results without too much maintenance. I just set up this system and will be running the the CS line in it. 13 gal pots and 13 gal res. The light is a Timber VS Fatty with a total of 930 watts, 5 -1750k, 2...

Gavita 1700e or Timber Redwood VS?

Just bought a Fatty VS. Had them configure it with 5 1750k, 2 - 3k and 2 4k COBS. I have and have had other LEDS plus CmH 315's and an HPS 600w. I was going for a lighting spectrum that would more closely replicate an HPS. The color temp on this light averages out to around 2500K. To do due...

    First time DWC!

I'm getting ready to order this set-up. This guy is really conscientious about his builds and the prices are extremely reasonable. He has some good rationale as to why he builds them as he does...

    How much longer??

It's kinda of hard without a loupe. The clearer the trich's are the more "up" the high will be. As they get cloudier the less of that you will get. The high will be "stonier". Judging from what's visible and the length of time they have been in flower, I'd say that you are ready for harvest if...

    Purple lemonade

I'm growing this strain currently too. According to FastBuds, they advise going easy on the nutrients. Also, the color is expected to develop in the last couple of weeks. Supposedly by keeping the temp lower when your light(s) are off it will enhance the color development. These are both FastBud...

    LED HPS comparison.

Nice! The first DWC that I did I had a similar experience. I was literally seeing inches of growth each day. Fortunately, the light did not generate too much heat and the buds turned out to be decent.. It is tricky getting things dialed in sometimes.

That's what I've read too. I'm hoping that the volume of light from the 6 fixtures helps the spread a bit. It sounds like you're still happy with them though. Are you getting decent harvests? I'm hoping that this light will let me just let me pause my lusting after the holy grail of lights....

    LED HPS comparison.

I've got a Timber Redwood VS on order just waiting on delivery and I'm really excited about it. I ordered it with 6 lights 4 -3k and 2 -1750k. I'm hoping that it performs more like an HPS in bud development, density, frost and terpene/flavor. I had them configure it with drivers able to be...
