Thanks, I'm not trying to light the whole area with a single light. I reworded the question to make it clearer.

    HELP....I Have New Light Fever

Greetings, I'd like to pose a question to all of you well informed LED advocates out their: If you had up to $1500 to spend on a light what you buy and why? Before answering, let me state that I intend to use the light in a 5x5 area of a 12 x 15 room. I'm looking for maximum effective...

Do you have any experience with Migro Cob lights that are made in Europe? https://www.migrolight.com/ This is interesting too: Thanks

I'm getting ready to harvest the Strawberry Cheesecake this week. I did a slow flush on it and let the plant use up it's stores. The CLW cobs use Phillips cobs, not sure of their drivers. Currently using the COB and hps together. Getting ready to change my HPS to an AgroSun 2050. I've been using...

I'm still messing with spectrum. I feel like I'm close though. In the attached photos I have two auto's and two Photo's. All were started from seed under a California light works solarstorm 440 in veg mode. Once the auto's went into flower, I switched to a 3100k CmH until flushing started. Then...

High efficiency or not, that looks like a serious electric bill. It looks like 6-7k worth of wattage. On the other hand....plants look great and bountiful!

FF, Nice work! Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind sharing, approximately how much do you have invested in the lights that you're using in the photos and watt is the approximate wattage? Thanks

So, on the one hand you mention how you like hps and on the other you mention led. Seriously, just curious about your hps set-up and your 1800 watt LED set-up what is your total wattage for that set-up. I agree with your post. It seems that many chase spec's and lose site of the eye test. I'm...

Looks like you got 1000 - 1500 watts going in your LED room. What are you running for HPS? I've been getting flak for suggesting that IMO I'm getting better results with hps.

Yeah, they'd work too. Both are good lights.

"In regard to lights just listen to the first person who responded" Don't agree with you and it seems that you presume too much. I was into LED's more than 6 years ago. I have been an advocate for them for a long time. However, until recently, I had not had the chance to grow under HPS. Now...

The new QB 648 Diablo from Horticulture Lighting Group

Yeah, $1100 bucks for a new untested light? I'm not feelin it..... Lot's of efficiency specs. However, how does it perform from a finished product stand point? It's basically a 600 watt light that's supposed to give 1000 watt performance. That statement/tagline is used in just about every light...

Whoops, found it. Yes, totally agree that excessive defoliation is undesirable. I have a friend that does it and get good yields. Some of his plants end up looking like bonsai plants. To each there own I guess. I know what works for me. The popcorn bud goes into edibles.

That's good to know and I'm happy for you. It's a big decision to lay out cash hope it pans out. I was looking at the 300 by them and just couldn't find any reviews that didn't seem to be tied to advertising. It's good to know someone that has field tested it. Their Earth Dust fertilizer looks...
