I like running a combo of strains, especially a combo of sativa and indica's, and hybrids. As far as the SS haze goes, if your going to do a veg, on say the critical + or something, you could put it in closer to when your planning to do the 12/12 flip and basically only give it a week or two...

Mine has a real fruity sweet smell when smelling the buds, and when i open the jar and stick my nose in it smells like syrup, or sum hot cakes n syrup from mcD's. So far mine seems to have a good bit of potency, still hasnt been in the jar long enough to dry and cure where it burns real well...

Yes it is!!! Each one is different too, from put you to sleep, to getting some work done energy. Its why i love 12/12 from seed, sumin done every month, and sometimes 4 or 5 done in a month.

I trim leaves here and there when needed, but try to keep it minimal, dont wanna shock the plant. May get rid of a few, but wont they still do the neccessary functions seeing that they still have clorophyl and havent yellowed?

I was reading some reviews on th egravity and it made the buds way to dense for most people and a side by side comparison of the buds were the same weight dry, just the one with gravity was a lot s,maller due to the density.
