The ec has dropped a bit more today, the pH down has been pushing it back up, both are small moves but it's better than ec up alot overnight.
Thank you to everyone for the help too
Well that sounds good. Good vs evil battle in my res I like that haha.
I'm still puzzled by the zero root growth in 2 weeks. Maybe a combination of the wrong feed then the things I got wrong, maybe its the calcium hypochlorite? Anyone have any ideas what might have caused it?
Oh boy so that's what this is, I'm entering into the benificial bacteria method, that makes me a bit nervous as I don't know anything about it and it seemed from what I read that's where everyone ran into trouble, I think it was to do with temps mostly tho? If I keep the temps under 20 celcius...
man I've seen so many pictures of people with sterile res full of roots tho, hm. These plants didnt start in dwc tho and I messed it all up a bit at the beginning.
Nice it's on amazon uk. So everything else is the same-ish? , temps all that, just use this product instead of a sterile res and it most likely will be a better result? Does this stuff do the same as a sterile res but in a different way? Fight any pathogens that would cause problems?
Wow that's very different results sample size of 1 or not. Good stuff I think I'll try that. Is it available anywhere as just the Bacillus amyloliquefaciens or does it need to come from that company as a product ?
It's my first time I just read too much about people having problems in the reservoir so I was just like no sterile.
What's GFF?
So using Bacillus amyloliquefaciens also prevents reservoir problems?
Wow that's nice, how long did that take to grow those? Is that a product or just 98.85 Bacillus amyloliquefaciens? Do you have to keep the temps down using that as well? How much how often?
Yeah right i don't get it. I'm in UK so no pool shock and any hot tub cleaner pool cleaner had other ingredients so I found this just calcium hypochlorite, but yeah that range hey, weird.
So 0.01 grams per gallon at 60% chlorine, mines 32% chlorine, so 0.02 g per gallon, how would I figure out liters? There's 4.56 liters to a gallon. I have to divide something right? Haha shit
Yes I was overfeeding them I've got the ec way down now, it's near 600 but ph down keeps raising it, the plants lowered the ec a bit overnight rather than raised it like before. So they ate a bit.
