That's a good point. Unless they're like some of the crack/meth heads around here who would try to pawn it or trade it off without knowing what the hell they got. Of course most of the crack heads around here can't google nothing because they done traded off there phone for a fix! Lol but...
Do you feel like backcrossing say 5 or 6 generations has any negative effects? I generally like to cube my clone onlys or something I'm trying to preserve and get into seed form.
Idk if it true but I've read or heard other breeders say backcrossing more than 3 or 4 generations can have negative effects. I had always thought this might be the reason you see a lot of breeders stop at bx2 or bx3, Then start their line breeding.
Your right, it's kinda like the old hps days when guys would stress over bulb brands, hortilux/ushio, with most grows it probably didn't matter because unless you have every other aspect of your grow dialed in perfectly your not going to see much of a difference.
That really dont make sense to me, I dont see a trait popping up that wasnt there previously. I will say it's hard to self an auto because everything has to happen on this one small plant in a short amount of time because you really cant take clones of autos, some will stay in veg under 24hrs...
I browse ebay a lot and they advertise that spider farmer to death. Its 1152 301b in 3000k and 5000k, 56 deep red 660-665 and 4 ir 760nm. It dont tell you the ratio of 3000k to 5000k. Other than that it's no different than anything else on the market.
That driver must have issues, at first I thought it might not be supplying enough voltage because the total voltage of his boards is real close to the max output voltage so I told him just take one board out of the string, that way you'll know your well within the the drivers output voltage...
You are absolutely right about keeping clones in the fridge, in your veggy drawer if possible and keeping them in stasis does indeed help them root better imo. Ive got a buddy on the OG forum that turned me onto this a long time ago and theres a lot of info on that forum about this. Some of the...
Only thing I noticed about the hinged general hydroponics lids I didn't like was they were designed for the big side of the lid to open. So the unhinged lids are completely flat with no seam? I did notice you were opening the smaller part of the lid , those lids you have may work better than GHs...
Just the calyxes at the nodes? No I dont think you'll notice any difference there as all you'll have there is just that one calyxe, or 4 total at each node on the main stem, 2 on each side. Like that first pic.
84 is good, you dont want a big swing from day temps to night, which I have with no problems, but most peeps will say 10° is the most swing you want. Yeah those pointed ones that looks like a hair sticking out of is female and you can leave those. They're all good.
The two at the forefront are calyxes but the back two are male flowers forming or atleast appear that way because there are not pointed and there are no stigmas coming out of them. I would look at them closer and make sure those are different flowers than the ones with the stigmas, small hair...
