those leaves are really very dark green looking so im wondering is there a toxicity of something which is about to cause a lockout? are you feeding heavy?
yeah make sure the pot is of adequate size
ime you are better off letting the plant tell you it needs to be fed rather than overdosing it with nutes/calmag as this can cause lockouts and is more difficult to troubleshoot, so you are right with 1/4 strength nutes then if the plant seems like it...
not sure why the runoff ph is 5 if you are flushing with ph 6.5 water, maybe you need to flush it a bit more?
yes does look like Ca/Mg toxicity, leaves are very green
avoid the temptation to water too much, get one of those moisture testers to check the soil down a few inches into the pot, they are cheap
alternatively you should know by lifting the pot, it will be a lot lighter when the soil has dried out, let the roots search for water......
because i always seem to magnesium deficiency i was feeding cal-mag supplement to the plants, even when they went past seedling stage - this excess calcium combined with the hard water then starting locking out magnesium so of course i upped the calmag dose mistakenly, thereby making things...
hello, I am currently growing in soil but have a problem with Calcium building up in the soil and locking out other stuff, it happens every grow. Pretty sure this is due to the fact that my water is on the hard side
usually i get a mag deficiency, so i will add a mag supplement but this seems...
be careful adding more, sometimes that can just make things worse
if those leaves are already affected then im not sure if they will recover, you need to check unaffected leaves and see if they are still staying ok.
Also i run my ph at 6.7 - 7 - i think (and someone please correct me if im...
