you could veg for longer even if your running a perpetual, just make sure you have enough room in your veg room. i plant my seeds sometimes 3 months in advance so i can get 2 months of veg
i dont think i want to be watering as much everyday, it would be a lot of work for the amount of plants i have lol, i think the 3 month veg from seed is good enough for me, its pretty simple
