Here's a link with updated pics until I can upload here
Wow, that was a long two weeks without you guys! The Jack Herer developed some problems from being root bound, and then ultimately turned out to be a male after flipping!
The Blue Dream and Critical Kush are healthy as ever and enjoying the new space.
Wow, that sucked. I thought my journal along with RIU were toast! I permanently anchored the 8 main branches on each plant to the perimeter of the pots tonight. Everything is nice and spread out across the entire space. These babies are really just about ready to flower.
Hey guys,
The plants are loving the new COB fixture. They have been vegging under it for a few days now. I've raised the lights to about 24" above the plants because the tallest one was starting to show signs of light stress with it 12-16" away.
Everyone is happy now. Only room to go up from here
Yea, I wasn't planning getting in that deep lol I'm just hoping that it lasts a long time and produces good results. Healing vibes coming your wife's way. Check out citizen COBs, cut back to 200-250 watts and cut the count back to 4 and you can cut the cost considerably. @CobKits might be able...
Between $400-$450

I tried to take as many pictures as possible when building, and made a little write-up. Definitely watch the growmau5 videos as well
So I went ahead and followed through with the nugbuckets guide on mainlining. I know I probably cut my yields by 10-20% by removing a lot of the small branches and growth.
However, by the time I harvest I will be working 6 12 hour days per week, and I will not have the time to be trimming...
This is the biggest one in the center of my picture above about 3 weeks ago. I topped at the 3rd node and defoliated everything but the tops on the 2nd and 3rd which I staked down. She still bushed back out of control in no time
Wow, at least I can say I've got the Nutes right on these babies. So healthy. Here is everything just 12 hours after doing all of the pruning.

If it's at the 5th or 6th node, I'd go ahead and top her to the third
And start building her hub. It's painful to remove all the beautiful foliage, but it grows back fast
Haha I was just worried I'd get something caught on them and yank a wire, which would really piss me off. I hate when accidents happen, and *normally* when something gets fucked up, it's preventable lol
I've been topping and doing a lot of LST all along. I followed this tutorial to begin with actually, but then chickened out when I saw how full and beautiful they had become.
That one is Critical Kush. I also have a Blue Dream the same age that was pruned exactly the same way as the CK. Also, I...
So I had a nice hub going that was getting very bushy and couldn't decide if I want to scrog and use all the growths, or just cut everything off and go with 12 big colas.
Now we wait 2-3 weeks and make the flip. Hopefully, I'm not disappointed!
Oh man, first let me show you guys what I woke up to. This whole watering learning curve is harder than I thought it would be. For some reason, I let it go 5 days without watering. Bad idea.
I top dressed her with the dry nutes from my master's pack fed her a gallon of water and a liter of mild...
lol I took matters into my own hands after referring back to the Cervantes grow bible. I gave a litter of mild nutrient solution and also top dressed with the sample dry nutes. These things are full of fast acting nitrogen sources. I should see full recovery in 5-7 days. Just gotta make sure I...
Hey guys,
This is my first grow and things have gone pretty smoothly up until this point. I am using Aurora Innovations Master's pack for nutrients, and am trying to get dialed in.
Last Saturday, I gave this plant a full feeding. She is very bushy and in a 5 gallon fabric pot. I gave her a...
