Yeah, saw that. And many of the source articles they cite - nothing on plants I can see.
There are two potential issues as I can see it. One I had thought of, and the other xGrimace made me aware of. I had thought of the gasses - which 1 plant was fully exposed to (it was right next to the...
LST. Multiple tie downs. Flower just after you have done tie downs. Then use pipe cleaners with weights attached on the tops once they start stretching - this can bend them outwards rather than up.
Just broke a CFL in my veg area. Anyone know the impact, if any, of any chemicals I may have released, on my plants? They're out of the area now, which is being properly vented and cleared up.
Just waked and baked with 4 day drying Carry On Jack. My first try of Jack Herer. My first thoughts. This is super strong sativa. Stronger than the Shack and the Sugar Punch. It's got the stoney bottom end like the SP (though not quite as dragged out as with the SP), and a mad crazy behind...
My folks had a giant sativa dominant Hollands Hope do similar things in Midlands UK a couple of years back. She didn't finish flowering due to early frosts (and a probably epic long flower time). That looks more Indica dom, so likely quicker finishing. I don't think the colouring is anything...
Oh yeah, a few male bananas to report on Sativa Jack too. That's both of them. Very slight light stress from a tent that is a few years old now; but both Shacks have no hermie signs. It's not a major issue being so late in flower, but completeness means I have to report it. :peace:
Preparing to harvest Tall Hazey Shack now. My god she smells good. Serious heavy tropical fruit haze dank. Smoking some samples of her from week 9, and they are serious haze. No drag down at all on the testers. Proper amaphetaweed. :-)
Sounds more like my Sativa Jack - both my Shacks have bigger buds though. I'm aiming on a day 78 harvest for sativa Jack, that 10% amber is actually past where I want it, so nice one on the heads up - I will keep checking. :peace:
I have to say I recommend the Shackzilla over the Sannies Jack from what I'm seeing so far. Although the Sativa Jack does look pretty exciting. I'll be able to give a smoke report on the two phenos when they're both ready.
I'll admit that I slacked with the runt. I got some super lemon haze...
My folks grew a big outdoor Dutch strain - Holland's Hope - which turned out to be a sativa dominant phenotype. Their plan was to grow it in their greenhouse but the plant ended up being 8ft+ tall. It had to be moved outside in order to cope with the height. Then cold nights kicked in too...
Just saw this one on Sannies site. Cross of two old Jamaican lines, JBM X Lambsbread. 14 to 20 week flower times! And x8 to x20 stretch!!! :o
That is one crazy stretch potential. Flower her at 9 inches, then fill a 2.5 metre square screen with one plant. Madness. Anyone had any experience...
Harvest pics of Carry On Jack. I harvested her on day 68 of 12/12 after 6 weeks of veg, with one tie down of LST training. Slight signs of late flower hermie, nothing serious though, as she's clearly just about ready. Pretty uninspiring phenotype I have to say. Quite a nice smell, ripe...
I'm going to harvest Carry On Jack tomorrow - which will be day 68 of 12/12. She's started showing one or two male 'bananas' in amongst the top colas. Only tiny ones but I want them out of there seeing as her sister still has over a week to go. She's pretty much fully done though - 25%...
4ft tall multi top trained Shackzilla. Pics from day 57 of 12 - 10/11 week pheno.
Still growing and fattening. Dense buds right down to the base of the trunk.
Tall Hazey Shack is looking just crazy. My mate saw her today for the first time and made hilarious noises. She has filled in like mad. Has bud all the way down the very bottom of the trunk. Probably taking her at week 10 on Monday. Could probably go another week, maybe two - but I don't...
