So I see a chart for the CXB 3590 CD driven at 1.4 ma and the efficiency is 56%. not bad at all and I will upgrade to .700 ma later on to get the 64% out of them. What will the par wattage be out of a setup like that?
Hey can someone do the math and let me know what I can expect for ppfd on a 10 cxb3590 driven at 1.4ma or 1.4 amp a cob? Its going to take me some time to learn the math involved as I continue in the led building hobby.
well after seeing Tex's 8 cob setup I think I will try a 10. what do you guys think will be a good setup pattern? I was thinking the 5 dice pattern two times on a angle grid.
so yeah tex, I love this thread man your killing it with those 8 cxbs. I think I will try those 10 cob setup. I cant wait to see the results, can you show your Co2 setup out? It looks like you have a big tank

I think 8 3590s @ 1750 mA or 2100 could grow some weight in a 4x4. With a 3-2-3 spacing. Check out my sig for the spacing. my tentative plan is to stick with 1400 mA and continue to build more lights to fill out my space.
I cant...
Well then heck I will just start there, I guess I can use a killawatt meter to figure the approximate output. When it all comes down to it how much do you save by having a super efficent setup anyway? I understand the whole running cooler than HPS along with the photon output, but drive currents...
