do what those crazy ass doomsday preppers do bro. Take a large pvc with a screw on lid put your weed in it and chuck it in hole. If its truly airtight dogs wont be able to find it, the trick is to not get any on the outside so wipe it down with isopropyl or something
How big r u looking to go?
Here's a couple of ideas
Dog house grows
trash can grows
toolshed (lockable) I like this idea the most because you can run electric out to it and no one would ask questions on why or why it's locked
Repurpose an old large refrigerator (also lockable)
false walls in...
Yea I use a bubble cloner and get near 100% every time before planting it in soil so its king of a moot point. I clone directly in FF Light warrior and its like 60% clone. I hate having to deal with rockwool.. so ill probably do soil.
Ill test honey, honey + rooting hormone, and honey + aloe +...
Probably will in like a few weeks when they're big enough to take a lot of cuttings at once..
I have a bubble cloner, thinking of doing soil tho cuz I feel like that's the most difficult.. at least for me
The sarcasm on this thread lol...
Alot of people use FFOF... just use the search function bro. I would also research more on growing if I were you because its basics that you do not start seeds in a hot soil like FFOF. Use a seed starting mix FoxFarm light warrior for example...
Why do you say that? My train of thought was that honey and rooting hormone probably wouldn't react. The directions just say wet and dip.
I might do a side by side and compare success rates between the 3... just for the hell of it..
So cloning powder is just indole 3 butyric acid which is the rooting hormone. Then we have honey which has been shown to work as a cloning gel (also an antibiotic)
Does anyone mix honey AND cloning gel/powder? Or even aloe, honey, and cloning solution?
I'm jus curious what someone's...
Search Trash Can grow,
Fill bottom with soil
Line the inside with Panda film
Drill holes/ slits above the soil for intake
Put a strong computer fan on the lid
Lights is up to you but leds might be easier to work with in that space
If you want you could even make a screen inside the trash...
wow... those blow through style heatsinks/fan combos are one of the first things I looked at before thinking it wasnt gonna cut it.... I guess simple is better..
I found lots of copper core blow through style heatsink/fan combos for less than 8 bucks a pop...
I was never even going to use the lens...
I was also thinking about water cooling as well but I guess im just over thinking the whole cooling thing... Ill go with the alpines..
I see everyone using arctic alpines but do you think it would be more effective than copper piped heatsinks like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-EVO-CPU-Cooler-with-120-mm-PWM-Fan-/301380789197?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item462bb1e3cd

I've been looking for these types of heatsinks except much much bigger for a good price for a while to mount up some Vero 29s to.
All the...

Honestly, if you're spending close to $100 a month on purified water just get a RO system, itll pay for itself in 2 months... after you install it its literally just turning the tap...
Its hard to tell from the angle of the pictures but it looks like your CFLs are little too far from your seedling.. it shouldnt be stretching that much.
With CFLs you should be able to get your light 1-2inches away from your plant
Also you're pointing your CFLs down... most of the light comes...
I'm no expert but you can easily tell if they're gnats by look at them close... they should be slender small shiny black with wings and spend they're time laying eggs in the soil
If you googled "Can I use aluminum foil cannabis" you could have found out the answer was no in less than half the time it took to make this thread
That being said panda film is the best way to go.
Easy to set up, 100% light proof, 90%? reflective, easy to clean, and durable af..
Lets say just for example I have 9 CoB leds driven soft compared to 4 driven hard (we can use CFL and Hid as an example too im just using leds as an example).
Lets for arguments sake say that the wattage, light output and light spread were also the same
Would there be any difference in light...

Interesting, I don't plan to use far red except for 15 mins after lights out only to be able to go 14 hours of lights on during flowering. I don't plan to use far red during lights on unless maybe 5 mins before lights out and continue for 15 afterwards..
