You should be good...its all about your initial light declaration. Many of us have panels with two settings on them, and its never been an issue in past comps to turn to the 2nd setting when the plants are bigger.

Eh, @hyroot -- a lot of ppl didnt drop out due to it being a dictatorship last round. Ppl dropped out cuz they couldn't read & follow the rules that were laid out. The moderator of the comp can be passive or not, and thats just their personalities shining through...contestants vote on whats...

I'm one down. This one had a dud bean, and isn't going to pop. The other 3 are above soil already, so I may not have to use my insurance bean. :)

So I can stick to a Saturday night update regimen down the road, here's a quick update. 3 of the 4 have popped above the soil. That is all. :)

As long as they're in the soil before Mar 1 and you haven't used all 5 bean starts up, you can plant what you want, when you want, and not all at the same time either.

Curious...your Gatorade cups are your comp entrants? They appear to say 591ml on them. If I recall, 16oz is 473ml...not trying to stir shit up, but I'm scratching my head here...did frozen give you clearance on these "cups"?

Pruning stray roots that extend out the holes is permitted. Gotta have a clean cup bottom in your pictures. That said, if you grow a chia head down there, you're just screwing yourself as you're going to have to constantly prune like a bat outta hell, and that will no doubt stunt growth, in...
