1. If these are for aeration in a soil mix, they can work if you monitor your waterings. Perlite is better though.
2. Just throw the root balls in the compost. They'll get chewed up like the rest.
There's always something around to amend your soil. If you don't have anything for some reason...
The afghani I just popped was quite small but the blueberry seeds I had were ginormous. Plants didn't amount to shit with the exception of 2 good ones that were different phenos anyway.
I haven't bought enough different genetics to have a firm opinion on it though.
How else would they have kept clone only strains from the 90s, right?
I clone things other than weed and the genetics have all stayed true. I have aloe and citronella from almost 6 years ago. The mothers right now are probably in the neighborhood of around a 15th to 20th gen pair of clones. No...
It's good as long as it's contained within the soil. Keeping it from spreading outside the pot should still remain a priority in my opinion. What's good for plants isn't always good for us and vice versa.

That may not be the problem, but seeing as there are no fibers coming off, I'd say that's a good place to start.
Definitely by nodes. I try to top by the end of 2 weeks, 3 at the latest to take full advantage of the upcoming growth spurt.
That site helped me a LOT when I first started. Excellent tutorial and symptoms section.
Side growth shot out quite a bit over the last 24hrs. Staked down. It's possibly the new LED supplement that caused growth and not the schedule.
New PE growth.
I will conclude this as a valid veg schedule for now. Growth does not slow down. I can't say that it's any faster as I didn't do an...
It's not suitable for some situations. Other than that, they're king shit as far as I know. LEDs have come a long way I guess and plasma tech is getting better. I dunno. Depends on the grower's preference and area I suppose.
