do i have enough light first time indoor grow

Yea, it says to run them at 3 ft. I only saw the 12W though. Seems a little far but they say LED doesn't degrade as bad. The only way you'd really know is to test the distance. See how far you can push it.

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

As far as I know, it's all about PAR with LEDs. That's how they burn plants. If you had your readings, that helps a lot. Some can be 10" away, others 30" away. What size diodes? From what I've gathered, 1W diodes can be put quite close. 8"-12". 3W diodes at 16"-20". Take all of this with a...

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

I keep it as supplemental right now. I'm still new to LEDs, so I'm experimenting. I have mine angled at 24" to the closest plant at the the bottom and 32" at the top. As per your yield question, it's not that it's stupid, it's just not something anyone can answer. That lighting will hold you...

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

I saw the pics in your other thread. They look close because the plants are small. Once they hit the growth spurt, they'll stretch out a little bit. Seedling stage nodes always stack on top of each other. As far as cheaper, I just bought a 300W LED for $110 on amazon. I think 250 hps are a...

    Keeping Sativas short and fast?

In the timeframe you want... No. They do make some fast flowering sativas though. Pure sativas are still going to have a looong flowering period, but sativa dom hybrids have come a long way. Seems to help with the stretch too. All in all, 1 month is a solid veg time. You can go longer if you...

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

A 600W anything is going to be overkill in my opinion. The area is to small. A 600W LED can burn your plants and a 600W HPS is a lot of heat and light with only 36" of height. A five gallon pot alone is around 15" high. A 300W LED or 250W hps is the way to go in my opinion. Lots of light...

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

250W HPS when you can swing it. That's all you need for that space. They'll just grow slower and maybe start stretching from the little amount of light in there.

    Need help or some reassurance

When your new growth starts spitting a very light and almost lime green, 1/4 strength and work your way up.

Moving plants from Sunlight to LED light every day, problems?

Should be fine. I run mine under HPS until the weather breaks and then introduce them to a couple hours of sunlight each day for about a week before putting them outside for good. Never had an issue.

do i have enough light first time indoor grow

Definitely not enough light. How big is your area?

    Keeping Sativas short and fast?

If you veg for a month, that's usually long enough for sexual maturity. However, unless you get fast flowering genetics, you're looking at a 10-16 week flowering period. As for training them, you can run a scrog as suggested or fim and supercrop them, or top and supercrop, etc. Possibilities...

    beneficial mold or bad mold?

Peroxide kills any beneficial bacteria in your soil. If you use bottled nutes, peroxide isn't as big of a deal. With it raised off the floor though, it should go away in a week or so. At least it did for me.

    beneficial mold or bad mold?

I've had it just like that before. Didn't hurt anything. I just raised the pots off the ground and it went away after the bottom dried out.

    Keeping Sativas short and fast?

If they're autos, they'll start flowering around the 3week to month mark anyhow. I fim and then lst. Fimming is very controversial on autos, but it's the least stressful tactic next to lst and makes it easier to level the canopy. My 2 cents.

    beneficial mold or bad mold?

You don't have your pots sitting off the ground, do you? That mold is from it being too damp underneath the pots. No circulation. Put a spacer between the bottom of the pot and the floor.

    Grow space set up?

The armoire cabinet is the best way then. Or just buy an old fridge/freezer or 2. Makes it look legit. That's if you have room for those. Your clones can be run right in your veg room or in another location. They only need a small area.

    Grow space set up?

If that's the case, why not just stick with outdoors? Hell, you only need 3lbs a year to meet your goal. Do a little indoor run with some autos for quick bud, while vegging some photos. Then just move them outside when the weather breaks. You should be getting 1lb+ per plant outdoors.

    Grow space set up?

That I don't know anything about. I'm still new to LEDS. Even in 40", you could run a small HPS for flower... If you needed to.

    Grow space set up?

If you build one that's 70" high, 40" for flower and 30" for veg, you could run a small HID in there as long as you can vent it. Otherwise, LEDs/T5s.

    Grow space set up?

If you're going that route, try to make your flowering room higher than your veg. What are you using for a veg light?
