    The Ideal spectrum.

This might be some more interesting data. First pic is 3000k/90cri top of canopy and the second is under the canopy.

    C02 generator vs tanks

It only wastes a little. I get a month to a month and a half to a tank in winter. Only difference is I use COBs and have no AC.

    C02 generator vs tanks

You might need a dehumidifier also. They throw out some heat too. I would get 2 tanks or one larger than 20lb and a co2 controller. I set my intake/exhaust on a humidity/temperature controller. If the humidity peaks over 60%rh or if the room hits 86*. Minimal CO2 lose and if you hear the fans...

    Higher Ec runoff, bottom feed.

Not a big deal if you're flooding 3 times per day. When changing rez, I run a gallon or 2 through every pot to bring run off PPMs down. I use 2g cloth pots in a flood and drain setup.

Chilled Logic Pucks V3 or Cobs

LEDs are no different on the pay back. I would rather have 5000w worth of light output, than 3000w of light and 2000w of cooling. Both have high startup cost but in the end 2000w of lighting you are missing out on 4+ pounds per run. And how often do you change bulbs? $50-100+ a bulb.

Chilled Logic Pucks V3 or Cobs

You are forgetting the 1200+w for the DE HPS and you almost always need an AC (12,000btu portable = 1400+w, or 700-1200watts mini split $$$) My situation- around 2000 watts of COB leds, no AC needed until I am past 3500w of lighting, even in summer with 100*+F. I only use Hyperfans for control...

Anyone know of any good pole fans?

These are my favorite now. Locally, we have a store that sells Costco overstock, and you can get 40" tower fans for $20. Having them above the lights, help blow the warm air into the canopy and make the lights run ice cold.

    Cloth/fabric pots AKA smart pots

I have done the blackholes, the halos, made my own. I always go back to flood and drain, less chance you will miss one that isn't flowing right. With flood and drain I can easily tell if the pump didn't pump or not. I am using the black holes on one tray, due to high issues.

    Cloth/fabric pots AKA smart pots

They also allow you to set them up in a flood and drain system. I have 5'-6' in 2 gallon smart pots with Coco. This allows me to feed 3x per day. They seem to work better the more you use them also (roots make it through pot easier).

Burned up a cob.Heatsink still good?

When you apply the paste, preheat the heatsink with a heatgun to help spread the paste. I use an old credit to spread.

Burned up a cob.Heatsink still good?

    Sorry they are the CLU058 3618 (500w max) on a 600w capable heatsink:bigjoint:

Burned up a cob.Heatsink still good?

Even Even at lower wattages (125 watts, very low for this combo) there was a 25*c difference.

Burned up a cob.Heatsink still good?

Were you using paste or pads? I have tested pads and found them to perform horribly. A few times they worked OK, but I will only use paste now. Both thermal imaging and Tc testing showed me that the paste (arctic silver) out performed the pads. I had a CLU058 averaged Tj 245*c @ 320 watts with...

Introducing CobKits.com - specializing in DIY and Citizen COBs

I would go with 4 CLU058 1825 on a HLG600H-54B. I have one built that way and I think it pulls 620 at the wall. Actually it's the CLU059, same everything, but price and output.

Best air con for my set up; HELP

Listen to big d. volume is key. Move up to at least a 6" intake fan, not a booster fan. I like Hyperfans, but I think the infinity is also as efficient and comes with a dimmer. You are willing to run a 1400 watt portable AC for 550 to 1100 watt grow. If you run the fan off a temp/humidity...

    Mini split for led room

Let's start with the lights themselves. Are you talking 2400 fake watts from a red/blue panel you found on Amazon or are you talking 2400 watts at the wall with a quality white led light? If you're talking true wattage, then almost 50 watts per square foot is a bit intense. Using COB leds, I...

Best dehumidifier for a 4x8 tent

Depends on light source and fan filter choice. A big enough fan may keep humidity low enough.

    8x8 grow tent advice needed

Start with an 8". That AC infinity is a dimmable, right @Apalchen ? The other fan I like is the Hyperfan (dimmable) and only 75 watts. I would hook that up to a humidity/temperature controller.

    Potentiometer help

Three drivers- 100k pot per driver, 50k for 2 drivers, 33k for 3 drivers, and so on. If you have multiple drivers on a single dimmer and one driver fails, the whole light will go into limp mode (30 or less watts). You can also go with a 3 way switch and put different resistors on each setting...

    AC reciculation vs exchange

Yeah, the controller is perfect. The tank and valve you can find cheap used, but if you need new, about $200 for tank and gauge.
