I agree with hot rod in that putting an illegal plant in your window sill is a bit of a flag (Either law or criminal)...Especially if the light bulbs are hung right there with the plant (Turning on before sunrise and off after is going to draw a lot of attention). But will it grow? Of course...
Call me old fashioned but I still like good old fashioned glass with some sort of water reservoir. Makes me feel like I am doing less harm having it go through some water...But I do love looking at all the new hidden jars and canisters for stashing the ganj :)
I just had one of my better...
I would wait about 2 weeks (Basically once you see the plant recovering from the topping, and started growing again). Then transplant, veg 2 weeks, and flower. Probably going to end up needing a few more lights because the plant will double in height in the first 3 weeks of flower
She looks great! the spot is probably a place you splashed when watering. Not much to worry about. As far as topping...You will did just fine. The plant will start branching now.
A little fluctuation in PPM over time is normal. If your PPM is raising drastically, and water level si going down, then you are overfeeding. If it is drastic, I would do a water change and start with maybe half the PPM that you were using prior (So probably around 300-350 PPM). Then see what...
Thanks duder. No, don't let them touch a paper bag. I am worried they would loose too many crystals and don't love the smell. When I chop I usually do most of my pruning, then let hang for a few days. When I chop, I try to keep the branches shorter then 14 inches for the next step. Once...
dude. your a troll. my last harvest....which had 2 plants hasnt been weighed yet but one plant filled a gallon bag and the other plant was bigger and drying right now...and very dens....like your dumb a$$
I use a 600 watt HPS for my final duder. If you read my post's you would know I only start things and clone in this little box. But i have flowered with CFL's. I also said earlier you can get good yields with CFL's, as proved by some of these other folks, but easier with the HPS. Don't worry...
Had that box for about 7 years....and no fires. It is not on that often. Just occasional starts and early veg. Then to my 2x3x6 test. Only grow for myself so I don't need a huge set-up...but, thanks for your concern dick. Not much on DIY are you? You pay someone to change your light bulbs...
Thanks man. Yeah I am stoked for the plant I cut down. It is dry now and in a couple bottles curing. When I consolidate to one jar I will post a pic. Best harvest for me in a while. it is 5 gallon drip with air stone in bucket. Fed general Hydropontics Flora series, with some cal/mag...
I had little square pots that are like 4.5x4.5 on top and probably 6 or 7 inches tall. similar to these I would say http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-Kord-Square-Pot---5-half-in-Kordlok-10-Pack . Having a little extra soil is nice when it comes to watering
don't see anything to convincing yet. You can veg as long as you want. With a longer veg time you will see sex showing. If it shows sex, you don't have to switch to 12/12, but you definitely can. A lot of times height is biggest factor when flowering in an indoor grow. The plant will double...
just harvested a purple ryder (Mazaar x lowryder). It has a tiny bit more drying to do but it fills a 1 gallon glass jar :) And it was the small auto...although way better looking. I have a monster still in the closet. it is a random short stuff seed auto plant. I started it first to test...
my starter, clone, Short Veg box. Those are 5 gallon buckets raised about 2 inches. So a total of maybe a max of 9 inches of growing space in those buckets.
Do those leaf tips get wet when you water? If they are getting wet a lot, it could just be from that (If the leaf is touching the soil, or pot, snip the tip of the leaf back so it is not touching. the rest of the leaf will be fine and you won't risk disease from being too moist. Fertilizing...
It is doable with cfl's, but it is a pain in the ass. Having to keep those lights close to the plant while it is growing inches a day can be a challenge. If you can control the heat of an HPS, you will be much happier with your results. That said. I love CFL's for short veg...
