I would leave it full and bushy. Let it grow into the net. Let the net do the work, shaping the plant, pushing it out to the sides, wide. This way, you won't need to remove leaves. Your plant will be short enough that you won't have to worry about Penetration (your light punching through the...
Some dudes are Great at bending stalks, or doing crazy stuff like Supercropping.
I am not very good at those things. I worry that if I tried to "Bend stem, 8 inches from the soil," I personally would break the main stem, 8 inches from the soil. Then I'd be left with no plant. For this...
Just 1 opinion, hopefully somebody else has good insight too;
Man, it can be difficult, but I think you are going to use the net, you gotta get Rough with those plants. The tallest ones need to be lower and wider.
Either "Top" or cut or somehow remove the top few inches of the tallest...
The point, or purpose of using the net is to get width, and fill your "space" or "footprint."
If the screen trains the plant or plants so no light touches the floor, and the canopy fills out the space, its good. Wall to wall with 6 inch high colas is good.
If the screen trains the plant(s)...
That should be great.
Start under 600 watts, in a footprint roughly 4 x 4. Flip to 12/12 flowering hours, and the Stretch begins. After two weeks (or 3 weeks in your case), the plants will be bigger. Hopefully big enough to fill out the bigger footprint (5 x 5) of the 1000 watt light.
I like Pineapple Express too.
White Berry is pretty fruity. Supposedly it's a Blueberry/White Widow cross.
Both are easy to grow, but neither is an exceptionally huge yielded.
Should be good to go.
Maybe "sprinkle" instead of "dump" the first time, to see how it works out.
I have also dumped a cup of that stuff in 5 gallons of water, then watered that mess in a few days later.
Jeff-
Things look good. Nice, healthy looking plants and even canopy.
Is that long side, to the left in the photo, "open?" I have a similar, rectangular area. 3 walls, and 1 long "open side."
I built a little moveable screen for that side, that just moves out of the way when I water or...
Tons of fresh air is good. Your temps are good, how is your air circulation and movement?
How reflective are your walls? With just 2 light sources, you need all that light to bounce back on your plants.
Sometimes I mix up
.5 tsp fish hydro
1 tsp kelp
2 tsp molasses
in 5 gallons of water. Just like making EWC tea, but without the EWC. If the recipe is good for microbes in a bucket of water, it must be good for microbes in the soil.
I don't know how much good it does, but it makes me FEEL...
Alright, now we're getting somewhere.
You can't squat down, twist, or lift your legs.
You do these movements every day during your job as a carpenter. You also probably carry a lot of stuff one handed, "suitcase" style, and bend down and stoop over all the time. Its like driving around...
Bro!
If you are driving off the balls of your feet, you are squatting wrong! Your weight is too far forward. The board under your heels only tips you forward more.
One leg shorter than the other? Maybe, but it's more likely you have some tightness in one side that's causing your...
How are your hips and your shoulders? When you work out(like doing lunges or dumbbell presses) do your arms or legs work like mirror images of each other, or are they each doing something different?
If you were to just stand there and look down, do your toes both point to the same angle, or is...
Beast is a relative term.
If you're not very strong, and not in very good shape, Beast for you is going to be like a house cat.
Someone who has been training successfully for 12 years is going to have a pretty awesome level of strength and conditioning built up. Beast for them, will be like a...
Energy is key!
The more strength and energy you have, the easier your day becomes.
A 45 minute walk, a few times a week, on days after you lift, will give you more energy and help your recovery.
Do check out Jim Wendler's 5/3/1/ program. Wendler has lots of experience. He played D1 college football. He was an SEC Strength Coach. He trained at Westside with Louie Simmons. He squatted 1000 pounds. Then he worked with Dave Tate at EliteFitnessSystems for years. Now he's got his own...
