Oct6 Day43 Flower Week 7! Not much has changed since last week. I did raise the light to 18" from the tallest branches. There was some foxtailing.

SEP29 Day36 Flower Start of week six today. Four more planned. I've had some problems... not TOO bad but some leaf edges and tips burnt and curling up. Also one night my exhaust fan controller had an issue and the grow room was 105F for about six hours...

Indoor, soil, FoxFarm trio, Week 5 Flower, slight tip burn?

I use the timed fan approach to keep temps up. Been running this one 84-86 as an experiment due to LED not having infrared to keep leaf surface temperature higher like conventional light sources. I'm about to dump some more pictures on my journal if interested, but here's an update on the...

Heat stress is one thing. I just realized I left out the most important part. I was in a rush. It was 105 degrees Fahrenheit for over six hours!!!

    Flushing end of 3rd week?

While flushing can be used to rid the medium of excess nutrients if needed, the real purpose is to remove the salt buildup.

Indoor, soil, FoxFarm trio, Week 5 Flower, slight tip burn?

Well hell's bells. Now I get to add heat stress to the equation. Shortly before (my) bedtime I was measuring my shelving unit next to my tent. I didn't realize the end of the tape measure bumped against the fan controller and adjusted the time variable. Instead of 30sec on every 1min the...

Thanks for the input Dj. I'll eliminate Grow Big from the rest of the program. Here is the progress today, Serrated edges are pointing up a bit more, and another fan leaf with some spots. The spots kind of look like Ca or Mg, but if pH is off it can look like alot of things, and am beginning to...

Using stones at the base of a pot

Proper drainage is better handled by a well aerated medium in my opinion. That will give a more even moisture level. The rock/sand layer will provide some additional drainage as the soil won't clog the drain holes or get washed out with the excess water.

I'm seeing a bit of tip burn and am looking for some advice, please. Details: Purple Strawberry Bliss Day 33 Flower, (7 days 12/12 before flower count began) veg was 56 days including those seven. Indoor, soil Fox Farms Ocean Forest, 10gal Day 84F 55%RH Night 76F 55%RH, has been very steady, RH...

SEP22 Day29 Flower In retrospect, was still too bushy. I ended up doing some more sculpting. Removed the bottom net, no longer needed support in that area. Lowered top net and to support more than just the top three branches since stretch is done. UV is up to 4.5hrs, increasing to 5hrs today...

SEP15 Day22 Flower Missed the update last week... While flowering is exciting, there just isn't much to do except maintain the environment and water/feed schedule. I did a major defoliation at the the end of week 2. While lots more vegetative growth has emerged since, the plant is nowhere near...

SEP01 Day8 Flower I got a dehumidifier last week, have been working on dialing in the environment. It's a balancing act between how often the extraction fan runs vs maintaining temperature. I've gotten it fairly steady 84F with 53-57RH during the day when the extraction runs 30sec every...

AUG25 Day1 Flower (Day7 12/12) My clorosis seems to have been solved once I increased Cal/Mag to every watering as opposed to feed-only. I'm having a continuing issue of leaf curl, mostly 'tacoing' downward. I've been working on getting my humidity down over the past week. My last run I was...

1440 Watt HLG Quantum Board build QB288s & QB96 Elites w/pics... Couple of questions

The six pin harness connector doesn't specify how much current it's rated to handle. It says designed for car/motorcycle use, I'd be wary of pushing too many amps.

AUG18 DAY50 VEG My clorosis and withering got a bit worse, I increased my Cal/Mag supplement to every watering instead of only at feedings. It's helped a great deal, I think it's coming under control. That was one of my experiments with this run- the advice given here by several members...

Mix one part bleach with one part ammonia. Wait until your roommate is asleep and clean their room. Wear a respirator.

AUG11 DAY43 VEG Looking good. Two days ago I increased the UV to 3X 10mins, still at the middle of the day separated by 10mins or so. I also turned off the blue spectrum to encourage more upward growth. I finalized my nutrient schedule all values mL per gal, and will follow water/water/feed and...
