Has anyone grown and harvested without checking ph levels?

I just use tap water. My last grow I was playing with ro water and all that to try and balance the ph. But ended up coming to the conclusion it just wasn't worth the effort for me, so it's just tap water now. I think the ppm level is about 220 out of the tap with a heavy amount of calcium.

Has anyone grown and harvested without checking ph levels?

I struggled with something similar in until I started using lime. My tap ph is well over 7, after I nute 2/3 of a dose "flower nutes" it' goes around 5.8 . I actually considered another line of nutes then fox farms because it was nearly impossible to ph a full nute dose.

    Should I harvest?

Need a better pic to be certain, but it looks like you still have a few white hairs, most of those will have receded back into the calyxes when she is getting close.

    Quick question about my photo's???

I've a bunch uploaded to imgur, lol most no one even notices they have like 5 views, but there's probably 1 million photos uploaded a day so it's not surprising. But that's about the only way you'll get better pics, problem is you'll encounter the same problem or the pics you post here will be...

Has anyone grown and harvested without checking ph levels?

So far this current grow I have not tested the soil ph, ph'ed the water I even stopped ph'ing my nute solution. I added some dolomite lime in my soil though. Edit: lol I sound like an infomercial.

    Cut some Fan leaves?

The fan leaves are far more efficient at photosynthesis. It's best to just bend "lst" them under the lower branch leaves, so the lower branches get more light.

    5th Grow, Same Problems. Advice?

Just want to add, dolomite lime, it should be added to most "bagged" soils as they use peat which can break down after several months causing ph issues. The lime helps stabilize the soils ph and it also adds cal/mag which these plants love. It can still be added, but it takes about 7-10 days...

    skunk 11 @ 6 weeks veg.1st grow!

Mostly height, but she will get bushy. No point in trimming as the bushier the better provided you have the space. Actually before I put her into flower I would tie down some of the top branches. As once you enter flowering you'll get a few inches of stretching. Tying down the top branches will...

Plant Deficiency... Having hard time correcting

I can't say for certain, just not experienced enough, but I do see some nute burn I just can't say if that's all it is nute od leading to nute lock or just a deficiency. I can say what I would likely do at this point if I couldn't test the soil ph or ppm runoff, is flush and the final bit of...

    Problem Identification

It's kind of hard to tell with the photos as they lack any color. There's some tricks to get more color, magic>pop art for my camera or when the lights are off. From what I can see it seems like a cal/mag problem, but in a couple pics, it appears there may be another issue " pic 233737", if so...

Air cooled hood reflector or plain old parabolic reflector..?

Personally I have seen about a "2-3 degrees" decrease in my temperature since moving to a cool tube. And a slight decrease in light distribution, overall I prefer to cool tube, but could easily live with out it at the moment. I have yet to use the tube in a vertical setup, which I think will...

    New patient- Lots of questions.

1 - skunk strains seem really easy to grow as they are vary hardy strains. From personal experience most of the shorter flowering time strains, less time to screw something up . 2. Attitude or Nirvana are the more popular choices, both good and there's many many more decent ones. There's also...

2nd grow first time LST need some help

If a fan leaf gets in the way I tend to bend down under a lower branch so it gets more light, using the lower branches leaves to basically hold down the bigger fan leaf. You really don't lose much light this way, you're simply redistributing it to the lower branches, no trimming needed. It's...
