    dolomite lime

1tlbs per gallon of soil, just sprinkle on top of the soil, some will put a little soil on top so it doesn't pool up with the water when you water. As mentioned it might take a week for it to start balancing your ph, you may get some minor ph swings while it corrects.

California Could Opt Out of Controlled Substances Act with Ballot Initiative

I'm fairly certain Ca. is a donor state, meaning they give the fed more money then they get back. Like I said, I find it unlikely it would be followed through or even really talked about openly. I'm just wondering if pressed a little would be enough to get the feds to rethink their policy or...

California Could Opt Out of Controlled Substances Act with Ballot Initiative

http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/content/2011/10/12/California-Could-Opt-Out-Controlled-Substances-Act-Ballot-Initiative It's extremely unlikely to happen, but could be enough leverage to get the feds off their back for a short time?

My germ rate sucks! What am i doing wrong?

I would just toss mine in soil, but I don't like not knowing if one will pop through the soil surface. So I went to soaking them in water for no more then 6-8 hours, just enough to soften the shell and allow moisture to enter the seed. Then toss them on a very lightly damp paper towel gentle...

Portable camping stove to produce CO2 ???????

Fairly certain that will produce carbon monoxide (toxic if in a confined area), what you want is carbon dioxide. I've heard of people using yeast and sugar as a cheap alternative or just spend more time in your grow as your breath consists of carbon dioxide..

    Hollands Coffeeshops are under attack

Pressure from the US? As the article mentions, that's making most of the cannabis used now illegal. The only thing they will be able to smoke is dirt weed if it passes.

Help diagnose my problem please :)

I'm not really seeing anything to worry about myself. It looks like lack of adequate lighting on the lower leaves, that's killing them off, everything else appears quite healthy. I'm not saying your lighting is inadequate, simply the light reaching those lower leaves. You should probably trim...

i know olive oil can extract thc, what about using hempseed oil?

You want fat, the THC is binding with the fat in the oils. Which is why vegi and canola aren't a desired oil.

    How Big Should Pot Be?

For that size I would say 3g as well. If my veg/flower was expected to be more then 2.5-3 months I would consider moving to a 5g or larger.

    Simple humidity question

Are you running your fans at night? Simplest solution with high humidity is normally more air circulation. What's your ventilation like? Another thing if you get hard up later in flowering. I water them less, so they needed to be watered every day, that will lower humidity greatly. Not exactly...

    Simple humidity question

I found if anything it tends to increase in flowering. But a lot of it does depend on your current "environmental" setup. A couple reasons being, bigger thicker plants equal less air flow, which results in higher humidity. Bigger plants require more water, more water in the grow area increase...

    Silence of the Fans

I had a problem with sound until I got a fan speed adjuster. It's very quite now, my house fan runs louder. Edit: although the one in the pic looks similar to one I just got. And the adjuster doesn't work on it. :( So thanks for the idea.
