    Air Pumps self reversed

wow.. if they went bad THAT fast, then what a waste. I've only had them for 1 or 2 months. Kept a fan blowing on them to keep them cool as well. One is really blowing air out of the wrong side and the other is not far behind. Cheap ass crap

    Air Pumps self reversed

My air pumps have began to push air OUT of the intake. This has been a gradual process and they have all went from putting out strong bubbles, to wasting air, since it is now being forced out on both ends. Is this common? Do I need to do routine maintenance on these things? They are only...

    Increased CO2 v's Increased Humidty

OK solid advice.. Get a dehumidifier. Will do. Problem is, I can't get one just yet. Maybe.. Hopefully next time So in the meantime, the ambient air outside my grow room is really low (desert climate), so pulling some of that in drops the humidity in my grow room FAST. So wondering if I...

    Increased CO2 v's Increased Humidty

Guess I should have mentioned in the original post that I am already using this method. 12 of them to be exact. They last about 3 days and then I have to redo them. They don't raise the level up to the optimal levels, but they are better than nothing. Orange juice and baking powder will...

    Increased CO2 v's Increased Humidty

    - It's cold outside. So no need for an A/C. - DWC. Water temp is at a near constant 65 degrees F. - I have 3 fans in the room, all running on low, but circulating the air just fine. - The humidity here is extremely low (desert climate). - CO2 right now is a bunch of 2 liters full of sugar and...

Long Term Storage. Any benefit or harm if I....

Well, the mylar gets sealed. When you put the oxygen absorbers in the mylar prior to sealing it (with an iron), the oxygen absorber pulls the bag tightly around the contents and removes all the air. So no need for a sealer, I already have tons of mylar bags and oxygen absorbers. :) ty but...

    Increased CO2 v's Increased Humidty

Also, should I run the fan during the lights off cycle?

    Increased CO2 v's Increased Humidty

Keeping my vent fan off so the CO2 can accumulate has the adverse effect of increasing the humidity in the room to 60+%. How do you manage/balance this?

Long Term Storage. Any benefit or harm if I....

..store my dried and cured buds in Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers? I am growing A LOT this one time and I would like to store as much of it as possible. I was thinking to pack it the same way you would store food in a sealed mylar bag with oxygen absorbers inside (these completely suck...

    3 foot clones?

Obviously, I could take a ton of smaller cuttings from each of these main branches. Each branch has a tightly spaced group large nodes (more than I have seen on any other plant before) that are 6-9" long each, but I am not only in need of some clones, I would also like to manage the height a...

    3 foot clones?

I have this beautiful 4' tall mother plant (White Berry from seed) that has 8 main stems shooting up from the bottom. All are nearly equal in size and length. I fimmed it at an early age and this is the best result I got from any of my plants. The pictures do it no justice, she's a beautiful...

Does a plant get stressed IF...

It's not that often, but a couple of times in the last week I have had no choice. Life has dictated my schedule and its been a whip cracking bastard lately.

Does a plant get stressed IF...

You normally run a 18/6 veg cycle, but occasionally you run it for 24 hours on days when you need to work on the plants or system? I know a plant will stress if light creeps in during flower, but does the plant notice the difference between 18 and 24 hours of lighting? ty

    Putting bubbles in your 'ponics

Mine is a bit too deep. 15" or so. A huge waste of water, time, nutes, and money. But it's too late to redo the boxes I built. So I was thinking about piling some rocks in there on the bottom. See any potential issues with this? Maybe just 4 or 5 inches high on the bottom, to displace some...

    16hours of light in flower...

2 weeks into 12/12 and my lights accidentally stayed on for 16 hours this morning. Will that cause my plants any problems? Delay anything? Nothing I can do about it now, it was a one time mistake (problem with my timer), but just want to know what to expect. ty

    Putting bubbles in your 'ponics

As I am continuing on now with my 1st grow, I wonder about that. I have a very deep reservoir, but most of it seems to be a waste of space and water. the roots FLOAT, so what's the point of having more water (a deeper reservoir)?

White Slime on My Roots and Airstones

I am having the same problem, but it is a bit odd for a couple of reasons 1. It is only on SOME of the plants. Despite it being a DWC with all the roots in the same water, some roots are very slimy while others are slime free. 2. Temp is at 65 But I wasnt having this problem when I was...
