    in the future use a new pencil eraser. poke just the rubber part into the soil add seed then cover. works for me. just my nickels worth (only worth a penny now. LOL)

    have you picked up any equipment yet ? First grow I kept my setup real simple just to make sure things were working out then expanded. just a thought hate to see ya drop bucks on stuff that you really don't need LOL been there done that.

    if the space is that cold your girls aren't going to like it either. warm up the space with a heater. you need to make sure you clean as much of the old glue off and try again after it warms up.

    how many drain holes you drill in them buckets and are they clear ? did you see the mother's of the clones? FFoF is good starter soil it should have everything it need for a bit. relax give her some space and good water for now.

    Kitchen ceiling lights usually have metal clips. shouldn't be an issue.

    Nutes run N-P-K. on your nutes it should say something like 2-5-10 or some other combo. first number is Nitrogen

    I'm in the same boat. basement grow, boiler heat. I've got a 3x3x7 600 watt hid. Day temps no problem but night dropping to low 60's. got a small ceramic heater an a multi timer. on for 15 minutes every 3 hours. been helping but still fine tuning it
