Can you just substitute it in recipes that call for butter? I cook with coconut oil all the time and use it as a hair mask sometimes but never thought about using it instead of butter for cannabutter.

That won't work unless you have some seriously fluffy buds. They need to dry a LOT before putting them in jars... so much so that almost 3/4 of your bud should disappear before you jar. If you have a place to put a few jars, you have room to hang. Grab a coat hanger or 2 and drape the buds over...

They're fine, they'll flatten out soon enough. IME young plants do that during growth spurts, so I bet you'll see a lot of growth in the next few days.

That doesn't make any sense... "when the buds start to form" is way too subjective for that to be true. Some people start counting from the light switch.

Could anyone guesstimate how much longer I have for this plant? This is 73 days into flower (since showing pistils) and the motherfucker was sposed to be done at 50 days. It's a Black Skull Five-O (sativa) and I'm not seeing any amber trichs other than on the sugar leaves.
