    seeds or balls?

This is very important, if it is indeed a pollen sac as I would assume based on your post, the last thing you want is it pollinating any other plants. Place a garbage bag over the plant and remove it from the grow area if this is the case.

    seeds or balls?

Pic would definitely help, but based off your short post my guess would be that it is a pollen sac.

    Growing newb. Advice please

You will find that when looking at forums about growing. Each person has their own preference and believe their way is the best (which for them it is). Check out the some of the CFL or micro grows on here, lot of good grows going on for sure. The search tool is very helpful, and you can even...

    Growing newb. Advice please

During veg the plant really doesn't need a whole lot of light to grow. However, come flower the light in your room won't be enough. Plus, you will probably notice that your plant will start growing a thin stretched out stem if it doesn't get enough light. Biggest issue in my opinion at this...

    Seedling Problems

Well the water ph is right around 6.5, however I'm not sure of the soil ph. If it were a boron deficiency, what would my options be to correct this? To my knowledge plants use a little amount of boron, but slightly too much can be very toxic for the plants which makes me nervous.

    Seedling Problems

Not going to panic yet, but as I just switch my first round of girls into flower, I noticed some yellowing on my new round of seedlings. I tried a local growers soil mix that's roughly 20%perlite, 20%Roots organic potting soil, 5% added EWC and the other 55% is a soil from local greenhouse...

Why do you newbs always grow auto's?

As a first time grower I have 2 reasons why I have autos going, amongst my photoperiod plants 1). I plan for a longer veg allowing my indoor autos to reap the benefits of those 18 hours the rest of my garden is getting for veg. 2) if planned properly it reduces chance of a late fall harvest...

B166ER's 12/12fs cfl party cup grow

Thanks for the information. As a first time grower I have just been researching different techniques and styles. Have considered using cfl in my veg room to keep electric cost down. Was very impressed with your setup and figures you'd be a good one for questions in regards to cfl. Sorry for...

Haven't been here since 2007! Question

I know a lot of people will recommend gorilla seeds as they are a great sponsor of RIU and if you pm them will often give member only discount codes. I personally have ordered seeds from Herbies with good success in the USA. However, I feel a lot of it is personal choice, and all have the risk...

First time grower, 30 days flowering. Need help.

I am a first time grower, however I have seen people post time and time again how your buds will really start to fatten up those last couple weeks of flower. Looks healthy overall from what I can see. Also, I feel a lot of times, especially with new growers, we expect a bigger yield then we...

B166ER's 12/12fs cfl party cup grow

So is this actual watts used or what the cfl replacement rating is? For example 300w cfl replacement only actually used about 85w of power, so based off that are you talking .6-.7 of the 300w rating or the 85w your actually using? Also when growing 12/12 from seed, do you transplant out of...

    Seeds

I order from Herbies about a month again and took roughly 10 business days to receive after my payment had cleared. I would just have them resend them, any time you order seeds from outside the US your risking them being seized by customs.

Just bought a pack of beans from True North seed bank. Good idea?

I know numerous growers in my area that swear by True North. I know they grow some good quality meds, but most have spoken of their reliability and customer service. I feel every seed bank is going to have some mixed opinions. I for one live in the U.S. and the reality is that any seed bank I...

how do my sunset sherbert plants look 4 weeks in veg?

I tend to agree. Unfortunately as a beginner grower I fed them far to early and am just now slowly giving them some fox farms to up the N but wanted to tread lightly not to over feed, at this point just waiting for them to need there next watering to try and make this correction! Thank you!
