Sounds like the plant in essence was excreting aromatic compounds that were from over-fertilization. Usually the smell from a healthy plant is pungent, not putrid. Just like when humans eat too much food, or junkfood for that matter, the result is an extra-funky stink than normal. Nice thread.

So no one has had any negative experiences with feminized seeds? Thats pretty cool if that's the case. I just wish more of the seed companies offered a regular version as well as a fem. version. I would much rather get 2 varieties of regular beans vs. 5 or 10 fem. seeds for the same price.

Well at least Attitude is from the UK and its not as obvious as a package from Holland. I was thinking of ordering from attitude because the quality of Nirvana seeds was poor for half of them.
