+1 on that. For got to mention that too. You need a floro bulb. Use a couple 23 watt cfls that are 5000k-6500k in the color spectrums. That should be enough light for them to germ. The hps light is probably like 2000k for its spectrum which is not ideal for germinating seeds......

Welcome to the world of growing my friend. You will never get 100% germination on your seeds. Its been two weeks. Thats about how long i would wait before killing them, even if they have a taproot. And quit looking inside the jiffy pots. Leave the seeds alone. Ive seen seeds come up 30 days...
